Nikita`s Story About The Art Gallery

What did I see in the art gallery? Well as you know the hall has been transformed into a art gallery with heaps of art everywhere.

So  my favourite piece  of art was my brothers and his name is Dartanian and his art was made out of sparkly glitter!!!!.His artwork was fantastic that was the one i loved the best.The artist who was the one that sparked these art was Ruben Patterson.Dartanian had a koru shape and flower petals.




While we were having a walk around the art gallery we saw movies on the stage and we saw abstract artwork too.As we were looking at people`s art ,this amazing painting just loved me so much.Well I really loved going to the Pt.England Art Gallery.

  What I Enjoyed The Best?

                         I enjoyed doing art every single day.


       Things I didn`t enjoy.

       I didn't enjoy blending colours because it was so difficult.


     What did I learn?

I learned about Wassily Kandinsky who was born in Moscow,Russia.


How do I feel about my term overall?

       I feel excited because I've done really well in my art.


What did I find most interesting?

    This term what I found interesting was my artwork.


What could I have done better to help my learning?
     By listening to the teacher's instructions carefully.

Nikita`s Animation Task

 This is me drawing my name in my graffiti stack. .I`ve learn't that movies are a really cool thing to do in class, so sit back and enjoy.

What Happens Next?

We had to predict what might happen in this youtube clip.Above is my prediction and below is the real clip.We came CORRECTLY!!!!

My Artwork About Flowers

As we started painting our backgrounds we used vibrant colours

Making petals with tissues looked very hard to do.

While gluing the parts of the flower onto the cardboard, we had to make sure that there were no bumps.

Finally the last step was painting our flowers with dark and light colours.

Melted Crayons

As Art Alive started to be our topic for this term,room 13  made incredible melted crayons.

Gluing the crayons on the cardboard with hot glue was very sticky and icky.While I was doing that,Marama picked a stencil up and put it down on the canvas and she started to paint. But I heard Miss King telling us a tip, she said make sure you do not move the stencil or it will come out disgusting. As Marama started to finish, we carefully picked up the stencil and our word came out perfectly.

Melting the crayons with a hair dryer,took a while, but after a few minutes they started to melt a lot of the crayons. But the glue did not stick properly because we didn’t put enough glue on the crayons.

As we started to finish ,we noticed our piece of art was looking horrible, I couldn’t even look at it. But it was still fun.
